Wound treatment: antiseptic wound treatment for acute and chronic wounds.
Mucous membranes: repeat short-term antiseptic treatment of mucous membranes and adjacent tissues prior to diagnostic and minor surgical procedures in the anogenital region including the vagina, vulva and glans penis. Also indicated for use prior to bladder catheterisation to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections.

octenisept® antiseptic solution for wound and mucous membranes with demonstrated tissue tolerability.
Unless prescribed otherwise, apply to area to be treated with at least two swabs soaked with octenisept® antiseptic solution. Ensure the antiseptic covers the area to be treated completely. octenisept® antiseptic solution should be applied for a minimum of 1 minute for mucous membranes and wounds, and 2 minutes for the adjacent skin and allowed to dry for a minimum of 1 minute.
