The product is suitable for disinfecting medical devices and other surfaces. With the unique oxidizing power of peracetic acid, the product offers sporicidal activity in case of an outbreak. mikrozid® PAA wipes are the ideal disinfection wipes for areas with a particularly high pathogen transmission risk because of their broad spectrum of efficacy and the rapidity with which they take effect. Examples include isolation rooms, operating theatres, intensive care units and the non-sterile side of the CSSD/ endoscopy or neonatology departments. The wipes are appropriate for disinfection of medical devices and other surfaces of all types. The prime areas of use are surfaces in close proximity to patients and surfaces with frequent hand or skin contact. The wipes can be used to reprocess semicritical A and critical A medical devices, as long as the reprocessing manual of the individual manufacturers allows a wiping disinfection.
After being disinfected, critical A and semi-critical medical A devices must be wiped again. Not suitable for reprocessing semi-critical B and critical B medical devices.

Special advice
Use disinfectants safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Wearing protective gloves (e.g. made of nitrile rubber) is absolutely necessary. Do not use on non-ferrous metals and do not mix with other cleaning agents. Further information is available on request. Instruction for use
Thoroughly wipe the surface with the cloth and allow the active ingredient solution taking effect. Ensure complete wetting of the surfaces. Ensure that all visible dirt is removed before disinfection. Treat only small areas. The wiping area depends on the room temperature and the structure of the surfaces to be disinfected. Pay attention to hygienic aspects when opening and threading the first cloth. Make sure to close the lid after use. If necessary, use several cloths for application on larger surfaces.
