edisonite^® classic

edisonite^® classic can be used in immersion baths and ultrasonic baths.

The concentrated powder is diluted with water to the desired working concentration. In cases of protein contamination: To avoid protein denaturation, keep the temperature below 45°C.

Dosing:
The dosing quantity depends on how the instruments are reprocessed and the level of soiling of the item to be reprocessed. Remove the amount required with a measuring cup. Consult the dosage table shown for the dosing quantity you need in millilitres. The following parameters are recommended when using edisonite^® classic:
Normal contamination: 0.5 % (5 g/l)
Severe contamination: 1.0 % (10 g/l)

Immerse instruments to be reprocessed into the working solution. Ensure items are completely wetted - also in the case of hollow instruments - and allow them to soak in the solution. After cleaning, thoroughly rinse/flush the medical devices with water that has at least drinking water quality to remove any residues of the solution.

Standing time:
We recommend replacing the working solution every working day at least, or immediately if there is visible soiling.
