Behind the sustainability: Team CSRD Readiness

Our mission to protect lives worldwide goes far beyond developing products for infection prevention and -control. At schülke, we are committed to contributing actively to a future-oriented society and healthy environment.

A critical step in this journey is our Sustainability Reporting, which not only meets regulatory obligations but also highlights our sustainability initiatives and demonstrates our high standards in this area.

Establishing a structured sustainability reporting process continues to be a major challenge for our Sustainability Team. The EU directive on sustainability reporting (CSRD) requires us to align our data and systems globally, and so far, no standardized process exists.

Despite these complexities, our team has already achieved significant milestones. We are especially proud of completing our comprehensive materiality analysis and the resulting gap analysis. These insights clearly outline the actions needed to fully comply with CSRD requirements and to optimize our measurable and targeted contributions to a sustainable environment and society.

Our Sustainability Reporting will empower us to rely on robust data and make informed decisions. This will enable us to continuously enhance our initiatives and drive sustainable progress at schülke, step by step.
