bactipal® 2,5 is a peracetic acid based, fast-acting disinfectant that can be controlled by conductivity measurement. It is particularly suitable for the disinfection of equipment, machine parts and surfaces for example in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Use disinfectants safely. Always read the label and product information before use. For professional use only. Read Safety data sheet before use. Please ensure compatibility of materials and instruments with peracetic acid. Pre-clean surfaces to be disinfected.
The concentration of the use solutions are dependent on the specific requirements of the particular application. Use concentrations usually are in the range of 1% to 5%.
Concentration of the use solution can be controlled via conductivity measurements.
The following values apply at 19 ° C in distilled water:
- Concentration of 1.0 % - conductivity measurement of 4.49.
- Concentration of 2.0 % - conductivity measurement of 8.57.
Instruction for manual application: prepare the working solution by filling drinking quality water into a tub or bucket. Add the concentrate product in the desired proportion into the water and stir gently. Wipe or spray the precleaned surfaces with the disinfectant solution.
Instruction for automatic application: prepare the working solution by using appropriate compatible automatic dosage equipment. Dose it into the circulation system or into the soaking system to be disinfected. Ensure complete wetting of the surfaces and allow to take effect.
At the end of the recommended contact time, rinse surfaces with an adequate quantity of drinking quality water.
